Amadeus in glorious High Def.
Actually it was fairly awesome. I've had to be up pretty much all night working on a journal article and to keep me company was two movies from my top 10 favorites ever showing back to back on HDNet, Amelie and Amadeus. Doesn't get much better than that.

Finally finished watching it. What a horribly disappointing movie. It's bad in almost every respect but where it fails most, which is also what makes it so disappointing, is as an adaptation. It cut out so much, most of them the best parts. I don't get how Jackson can go from something so perfect and faithful as LotR to such a giant failure as this.

King Kong wasn't great, but it was at least entertaining. And it was way more faithful to its source then Lovely Bones.

I'm catching the S2 finale of Fringe. I haven't seen it at all this season and wonder how long Leonard Nimoy's been part of the show. Anyway, I'm looking forward to catching up on it since I'll be free to watch it next season on Thursdays.

I'm finally getting around to watching Legion. Aram said it would be bad (so I didn't have my hopes up) and he was right. Luckily it's been laughably bad in a couple of spots. Still, I wanted to see it for the actors I usually enjoy. That's going okay. In fact, I didn't expect Kevin Durand to show up, but he did. Now I'm thinking about heading for a Keamy-heavy episode of LOST instead of a rewatch of Bettany in Master and Commander....
(Another positive is that it makes our on the cheap apocalypse in Supernatural look pretty darned impressive.)

He hasn't really. He's been in the S1 finale, mention afterwards, and only appeared for the S2 finale again. It's his final role, as he retired from acting.

I think it's a month or so old, because it said "the upcoming A-Team movie" -- but still entertaining.
Jessica Biel wins most hot, and said "thanks guys. I think about you when I...entertain myself. And thanks to Spike TV for setting the women's movement back a half a century." Pretty funny and cool.

I'm watching Unfaithful. It isn't very good. I can't believe it got nominated for some awards, apparently. And I'm realizing once again that I've never liked Richard Gere in anything. Diane Lane is hot though.
Spoilers
Spoiler:
This movie would have been better without murder as the centerpiece. Richard Gere cracks a guy's skull open and kills him, and then we're supposed to care about whether their marriage will hold together? Really?

So I flipped on the TV, and what happened to be on...
"All About Steve" -- Bullock's Razzie winning performance.
Ugh, this movie is bad...trainwreck bad. Bullock is annoying as hell (her character) I guess.
She's insane.
I can't turn the channel, though.

Deep Impact is making background noise, and I noticed that in the scene where Elijah Wood is answering questions at a school, the guy that played Locan Echols in Veronica Mars stands up and tells him he's gonna have way more sex.
