mobster I think the Thomas pick was a good one, but yeah the Broncos could have gotten him in the second round. Not sure if McDaniels is doing a far better job than Shanahan did with his draft choices, really.

I'm not sure why the Steelers felt the need to pick up two wide-outs in the draft. As it stands we already have Hines Ward, Mike Wallace, Limas Sweed, Antwaan Randle-El, and Arnaz Battle, as well as a few other guys that fill out the roster.

There were certainly other positions that should have been paid more attention, like our issues in the secondary or along the offensive line.

Santonio for a 5th is highway robbery. The Jets continue to look better and better.
Unless Sanchez really stinks (which I doubt), the Jets have a great shot of taking the division.

My guess is that they didn't trust the guys behind Hines Ward and Mike Wallace, hence them picking the two wideouts, though, being honest, I only see the third rounder Emmanuel Sanders compeiting for playing time on the offense. The other guy, Antonio Brown, I see him competing for a roster spot as a returner with Stefan Logan.

Well, I guess we should be fine on the secondary for now with the Bryant McFadden trade but yeah, I would've liked them to grab a tackle as well.

Something that I didn't like was that they didn't do anything to add more youth to the defensive line, I mean, unless Ra'Shon Harris and/or that dude they picked on the seventh round surprise, the only lineman under thirty they'll have will be Ziggy Hood. I mean, they should've picked an end or a NT instead of at least one of the linebackers they grabbed.

I think the reason the bengals didn't take Bryant was because of his character issues.

Does not compute.

lol, I was gonna say the same thing... the last things the bengals worry about is havin players with character issues.. LOL

My friend and I at work the other day already made our division standings picks for the season. I'd post 'em, but I might change a few of them based on how training camps work out. Football season is still too goddamn far away.

Madden 11 Demo is out on XBox Live!

And T.O. to Cincy officially makes me a sad panda. AFC North is ridiculous this year.

Bengals: Taking in reject players since the 90s. TO is washed up, but in Cincy he could fit in well and do some good for that team. We'll see how it all works out, but its all for naught if Palmer gets hurt.

It's baaaaaaaaaack!

Really, the only way I could hate the teams involved any more tonight is if you replaced the Bengals w/ the Ravens. That said, I am pretty sure I have a chubby right now.

I'm really hoping this is his last season. I'm not sure its a good idea for him to come back, as the Vikings are banged up, the schedule is a hell of a lot tougher, and teams will be looking to retire him quickly. The Saints get the first crack at that in their home standium.

I can't remember a time I ever liked Favre. Sure, I think that he was an incredible player in his heyday, but I never fell under his spell like so many.

Truthfully, if it's not a Steeler, it's hard for me to genuinely like a player.

The only non-Steelers I like that come to mind are Ochocinco (I know, I'm confused too.), Jared Allen, Barry Sanders, Jerry Rice, Wes Welker.

Seriously. That's it.

I wish the ravens would offer revis the contract he wants. :/ we could really use him. The Jets have to many good players right now, the Ravens need a CB a few of em really lol.
