Did my first lvl 80 content yesterday, Obsidian Sanctum, with 8 players. Didn't get any gear but did get a 22 slot bag, Dragon Hide Bag. I was undergeared for that, but the guild I'm with still asked me to come along so I could upgrade my gear. Really nice of them.

The regular Fallout 3 or also the DLC? If the regular Fallout, how did you like that ending?
Spoiler:
At that point in the game, I had accumulated a following of 2 ghouls and a Super Mutant (all of them immune to radiation) and yet the game still only gave me a choice of sacrificing myself or the BOS girl. How sick is that?

Yeah, just the regular game.
Spoiler:
Yeah, I didn't do a lot of the side missions so I didn't have the ghouls but I had a Super Mutant follower also, so yeah conventional wisdom would say they should let you send that dude into the room. But of course, that wouldn't make the ending dramatic enough then. I did enjoy a lot of the twisted decisions they let you make throughout the game (assassinating ghoul ladies, leaving people to die, etc) and loved the overblown "follow the robot" climax. At that point you're so powerful that you can zap any baddies dead in seconds, but that was still fun.
The level where you get sent into the 50's simulation was awesome.

I hated it the first time thru cause it fucked up my Karma (I was aiming for a good Karma ranking) and only got the abandoned house (good Karma) route during my second play-thru (when ironically I was aiming for a bad Karma rating).
Spoiler:
What bugs me is that not only did I have a radiation-immune party standing by (and one of them, the super mutant Fawkes is kinda hard to miss in an As-Big-As-The-Fucking-Hulk! way. Not to mention that Charon, as a Ghoul, is actually healed by radiation) but I also had an almost 100% rad suit, near 50 RAD-X and RAD-AWAYs and you can spend hours in that room using them all up but you'll still die as soon as you punch in the code.. And if you download one of the DLC's (Broken Steel, IIRC) you can ask Fawkes and he'll actually hang a giant lampshade on the original Fallout3 ending.

I love inFAMOUS. Finished my first playthrough as a hero & about halfway through being evil. Usually, the evil side is always more fun. But I personally think both campaigns are on par w/ each other.

Oh yeah, I had a LOT of fun playing inFAMOUS!
Left 4 Dead 2 should come in the mail today and I will promptly crack out on that.

Finally got to play and beat Mass Effect. Epic gaming at it's finest. Major frame rate issues at times, but I got used to it (for better or worse) and the story and production value is really unmatched. It was like watching a high budgeted sci-fi flick. It's also pretty sweet that you can carry over your stats to Mass Effect 2.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to playing Dragon Age at some point too. I'm still catching up on older games...just started Call of Duty 4 today.

Loving Assassins Creed 2. Just wish I could spend more time so I can finish the game & start Modern Warfare 2.

WET is fun, but pretty repetitive.
I've been playing a lot of 1 vs 100 on XBox Live. The game is free to download through the arcade and runs nightly through the week. Anyone who likes trivia should give this a try. I play just about every night, so if anyone decide to try it they should let me know. I think it's live tonight.
Really fun, but some of the climbable objects were a little too well hidden sometimes.
Next? Either Assassin's Creed 2. or I may wait until I get my Christmas stuff. Fallout 3 GOTY Edition!

Will that be your first playthrough? Cause I'd be so jealous. If I could erase the memory of playing through Fallout 3 from my mind and start afresh from the start, I would. Just AVOID WALKTHROUGHS! FIGURE EVERYTHING OUT ON YOUR OWN! The joy of exploring is 2/3rds of the experience.

I beat the vanilla FO3 a while back. I never used a walk through and played it fully good. My only complaint was the ending was awful and there needed to be some more music on the radio.
GOTY not only gets rid of the immense plot hole of having a mutant who could survive radiation refuse to save the world and lets you keep playing after the storyline is done. NOT ONLY THAT but it has ALL THE EXPANSION PACKS. All 5. Hell yeah.

Yeah the ending was a Wallbanger.
I only played thru Anchorage and The Pitt, so lemme know if the other extensions are worth getting the GOTY!

The UFO one looks awesome.
God, it's such an awesome feeling finding a good gun in the wasteland. I remember that I used my baseball bat from teh Vault for like halfway into the game. I shed a tear when it finally broke.
Those gay pistols blew though

Well my Small Guns skill was one of my traits and by the time I was around level 8 to 10, even Super Mutants didn't scare me. I scored about 70% of mu kills with a good old hunting rifle. By the time I got Lincoln's Repeater, the Terrible Shotgun, or the Xuan-something Assault Rifle, I was searching out Super Mutes and Raiders for somethin' to do!

Hahahahaha holy shit, I meant to type RAY pistols. Okay, I have to keep that typo in there.
Regular pistols were my bread and butter. Hunting rifle was for big baddies only.

I never used energy weapons or big guns for that matter, either. Small guns all the way. For some reason it bugged me when I shot some hulking big brute with a plasma rifle and turned him into a glowing pile of goo, only to search the remains and find an assault rifle, 30 rounds of 5.56 ammo, some mole rat meat and 3 frag grenades.

You ever try to storm the slaver base?
I went in there with no knowledge of what it was, with a rifle, hand gun, bat and some ammo and had to bolt after being SWAMPED.

Strangely, after a couple previous abandoned attempts, I'm been addicted to Oblivion.
I had to start Morrowwind 3 times before I got into it. Then I got through 75% of it and it didn't really feel like I did anything. I guess I just flew through the story missions and skipped everything else.
Despite my past with the series, I do really want to try oblivion.
